Mourne Stimulus is overseen by its voluntary Board of Directors/Trustees. We are in an independent provider of care in Northern Ireland and have 20 years experience in the management and delivery of a full range of community based day care services. Our service, which is available five days per week, 225 days per year, aims to provide people with varying degrees of learning disabilities day time opportunities.
Mourne Stimulus is currently part funded by the Southern Health and Social Care Trust. In the financial year 2023/2024 Mourne Stimulus received block funding of £381,199.95. We are grateful to the ongoing support from the Southern Health and Social Care Trust.
In addition to the Trust funding, Mourne Stimulus continues to fund raise for additional monies to help with running costs, maintenance etc. We are very appreciative to all in the local community who continue to support us year after year with generous donations through organised events, coffee mornings, running marathons, community groups and local schools, to each and everyone of you, THANK YOU!
