Our Garden Project initiative continues to integrate into and demonstrate to the community the valuable contribution people with learning disabilities have to offer.
This is what we do:
- Our attenders take part in therapeutic gardening activities
- Our attenders make floral displays which we sell to local businesses and the local community.
- Our attenders maintain the Day Centre's Grounds and Gardens.
- Our attenders grow seasonal vegetables which are sold at a reasonable price.
- Our attenders make and sell various wood crafts
- Our attenders will take on upcycling projects
- Our attenders will crush and recycle aluminium cans
Our Garden Project needs continuous financial assistance, therefore we rely on donations and support from local businesses and customers to continue this valued service.
The Garden Project supplies a wide variety of plants, all at competitive prices.
